Dr. Ay\u015fe Uydurano\u011flu completed her undergraduate education in 1991 at Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics. He worked as a tax inspector at the Ministry of Finance for one year. Between 1994 and 1999, he continued his doctoral studies in economics at the University of Exeter with a state scholarship. The doctoral dissertation covers the external costs of road transport and optimal pricing. Since 2000, he has been working as a faculty member at the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul Bilgi University and teaching at the same faculty and the Faculty of Law. Since 2010, he has been the director of \u0130stanbul Bilgi University Environment, Energy and Sustainability Application and Research Center (\u00c7ESUAM). Her research interests include environmental economics, carbon pricing, environmental taxes, sustainable energy and sustainable transport. She has articles in leading national and international reputable journals on these topics. She, together with Ay\u00e7a Aksoy of WWF Turkey, published a report on the Turkey’s Water Risks. She took part in some projects on climate change and gave lectures to housewives, primary and high school students. One of these projects is the Smart Stars project supported by Soyak, which received both national and international awards.
